Valentines Day

For Valentine's Day this year, I decided that I would not say anything to Don about it and if he remembered, Great! But if he didn't, it wasn't going to be any big deal: I know he loves me and he's really busy at work. Yes, I would have been disappointed, but I would have understood.

Lucky for me, Don is better than I thought at remembering! On Thursday, he sent me an arrangement of fruit from Edible Arrangements (think yummy chocolate dipped strawberries and Pineapple!). Then on Friday, he sent me a eighteen red roses and the sweetest necklace~ it is a silver heart with four pearls inside, one for each boy! I love it! On Friday, Heidi came to visit and offered to watch the boys for us while we went out. Can I say that I love my sisters?!?!? We went to see "He's Just Not That Into You" (very cute and funny) and then went out to eat at September's (something new). All together, a very, very nice Valentines Day!

While I love getting things (and who doesn't?), I really love giving things! I started a tradition of making sure the boys get Valentines from me and Don every year so they know that they are important in our family. I know Nolan doesn't understand, but Brennan does. He even made me a Valentine! The boys got their favorite candy (Krabby Patties) and their favorite toys (Brennan= Bakugans, Nolan= Cars and Books). Don was a little harder. That man can buy anything he wants and usually does! I found his favorite Cinnamon Popcorn (a true rarity) and decided on a new Wii game, NCAA Football. I didn't really know if he would play it, but it looked fun~ you can play mascot against mascot (I'd love to see the Razorbacks play the Cougars). Turns out he really likes it! I think I did good this year!

You have a sweet husband. You made a much better choice the second time around!

I wish you lived closer and I can't wait to see you in a month!

Im so happy Don is thoughtful, you are incrediably alot better then me at keeping your mouth shut. If I want something I say it and if they seem not to hear then I yell but it has yielded great success for me so far. (Good thing ben loves me huh, no one else could put up with my tantrums)
